contact us about your order, special requests, questions
about our products or anything else you like.
How do I
place an order?
Simple, just choose the size of the shirt you want and
click on the "Add to Cart" button. (Make sure
you order from the US/CANADIAN ORDERS box if you live
in the USA or Canada. If you live in any other country
order from the INTERNATIONAL ORDERS box). A page will
appear with the contents of your shopping cart. When your
cart contains all the items you wish to purchase, click
on the "Proceed to checkout" button. If you
have a PayPal account you will be invited to login and
you will be taken to a page showing the details of your
order - make sure all the details are correct (especially
your shipping address) and click on the "Pay"
button to complete your order. If you do not have a PayPal
account you will be taken to a page where you will need
to provide your credit card details, after your credit
card details have been confirmed you will be taken to
a page where you can review your order before completing
payment by clicking on the "Pay" button. Click

How much
is shipping?
T-shirts:
USA/Canada - $4.25 for the first t-shirt, $2.95 each additional
shirt.
Rest of the world - $12.00 for the first t-shirt, $8.00
each additional shirt.
Hoodies:
USA/Canada - $7.50 per hoodie.
Rest of the world - $20.
IMPORTANT: Please
make sure that your shipping address is correct when you
place your order! We cannot reship or refund orders
that have already been shipped to incorrectly provided
addresses, unless we receive them back in the mail. If
you are shipping to your work address, make sure that
you include your name
as well as the company name.
How can I
change my shipping address?
If you have more than one address associated with your
paypal account then pay special attention when ordering
to ensure that you choose the correct shipping address.
The best way to avoid any problems is to delete any old
addresses from your paypal account. On the page immediately
before finalising your payment, the address to which your
order will be shipped is shown. There is a link which
allows you to change this address if required, as in this
example:
My
credit card is registered in one country, but I want to
ship to another - what do I do?
This situation may arise in either of these situations:
1- you are currently temporarily resident in one country
but still have a credit card from your main country of
residence, and you want the order shipped to where you
are currently residing.
2- you want to buy a shirt for someone who lives in another
country.
PayPal sometimes has a problem with orders like this because
it usually only allows you to add addresses to the country
where your credit card or bank account is located. If
you encounter a problem of this nature, please contact
us and we will usually be able to ship to the address
you specify (you will just need to email
us with the correct shipping address immediately after
ordering).
Where will
my t-shirt ship from?
Ban T-shirts uses two distributors - Brunetto T-shirts
who are based in Connecticut, and Buffalo Nickel, who
are based in Oklahoma. If you order two shirts or more
your shirts might be dispatched separately from both locations
in which case you will receive two packages. To see which
t-shirts are shipped by which distributor, see
the distribution list.
How long
will it take for my T-shirt to arrive?
Usually between 5 and 10 days for US orders. Under normal
circumstances orders are processed and dispatched within
1 to 3 days. You will receive an email from the distributor
indicating that your shirt has been shipped, if you have
not received this email within 5 days of ordering please
email us and we will resolve
the issue. Orders ship via USPS. If you haven't received
your order within 15 days, please email
us with the details of your order (include the transaction
ID from PayPal) and we will let you know the status of
your order. If you need your order by a specific date,
please let us know and we'll do our best to make sure
it gets there in time.
International orders take longer to arrive, European orders
will usually take between 1 and 2 weeks to arrive but
can sometimes take up to a month. Some countries may require
custom duty to be paid on goods received, we cannot accept
any responsibility for these charges, the customer is
responsible for their payment.
What countries
do you ship to?
We ship to any country where PayPal is accepted. At the
moment there are 190
countries where PayPal is accepted.
What payment
methods do you accept?
We take payment through PayPal.
However you do not need to join PayPal to order from us.
You can pay with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American
Express credit card. It is also possible to pay with an
eCheck or with funding from your bank account. PayPal
offers a secure and reliable platform for online shopping.
Once you have created an account it can be used at many
web stores and to pay for items through Ebay. Many people
prefer to shop online using PayPal as you do not have
to give your credit card details to every store you order
from, only to PayPal.
If you prefer not to use a credit card you may send a
money order. Please email us
regarding such payments so we can reserve your size and
design preference for you. Note that we do NOT accept
checks of any kind.
What brand
of shirts do you use?
We use American Apparel, Royal Apparel and Organic Apparel.
The brand of shirt used for each design is stated on the
page about the tee.
Where are
your t-shirts made?
They are all manufactured and printed in the USA. Because,
in spite of what some people say, we don't hate America,
we just dislike some American politicians.
Are your
shirts sweat shop free?
Yes, they are all sweat shop free. We want people to earn
a fair wage for a fair day's work. We don't want to be
involved in exploitative labour practices.
Are your
shirts made of organic cotton?
Some designs are printed on organic cotton shirts and
some are not. If a design is printed on a shirt made of
organic cotton then this is stated on the page about the
t-shirt. We are moving towards making most of our T-shirts
organic. They cost a dollar or two more but the benefit
for the environment, wildlife and our own health is enormous.

How do I
wash my shirt?
Wash warm (30°C/86°F), do not bleach, dry low. Note that
most t-shirts can shrink a little after their first wash.
DO NOT IRON THE PRINTED AREA! Dry at a LOW temperature.
Drying at a high temperature can cause the print to crack.
Can I exchange
my shirt if it doesn't fit?
Yes, no problem. Always email
us first with the details of your order and we will send
you instructions on how to exchange the shirt.
Can I get
a refund if I'm not happy with my purchase?
If you want to return your order and get a refund, you
may do so within 14 days of receiving it. The t-shirt
must obviously be returned unworn and unwashed. Please
email us before returning the
t-shirt. We do not issue refunds or make exchanges for
t-shirts that are on "special offer" at a reduced
price. Refund of shipping costs is at our discretion.
What about
privacy issues?
All financial transactions are processed through PayPal.
Ban T-shirts does not have access to your credit card
information - this is held by PayPal. Information regarding
your name and address is held by Ban T-Shirts and the
distributor (Brunetto T-shirts or Buffalo Nickel) exclusively
for the purpose of processing your order and dealing with
any queries that may arise concerning your order. Your
details will not be passed on to any third parties for
any purpose whatsoever.
How can I
find out about your new t-shirts and other apparel?
We have a mailing list which you can join if you wish
(see menu on the left of the page), or just check the
site from time to time. If you bookmark us in delicious,
stumbleupon or any other social bookmarking site then
you will also help us reach other people.
Is it possible
to buy Ban T-shirts' designs wholesale?
If you are organising an event and you think our t-shirts
would be a useful way to raise money for your organisation,
or if you have a store where you'd like to stock our shirts,
then please contact us for wholesale
rates.
Why don't
you sell any right-wing T-shirts?
Yes, believe it or not we sometimes get asked this question.
The answer is simple. We make T-shirts with messages we
believe in, we're not here to present "all sides
in the debate". This isn't just a job for us, it's
something we believe in. So if you're looking for right-wing
t-shirts or a shirt that says something offensive about
immigrants or environmentalists, click off some place
else.
