On one level this is a parody of all those "Speak English or Get Out" shirts that you see around. On another level is also speaks about the importance of keeping Cherokee, and all other Indian languages, alive! And that means speaking it.
This design features the seven pointed star of the Cherokee flag which represents the seven Cherokee clans (Bird, Wild Potato, Deer, Long Hair, Paint, Blue and Wolf). The design is intentionally printed with a distressed and aged look.
